CEBU CITY — Bans on the carrying of guns, as well as on the sale and consumption of liquor within the carousel route are being proposed as part of security measures for next Sunday’s Sinulog grand parade.
The Sinulog 2009 Security Task Force Commander, Senior Superintendent Patrocinio Comendador, said the coverage of the gun ban will be decided by the Police Regional Office (PRO), but he would like this to be implemented along the carousel route and inside the Abellana Sports Center.(more)
