Sinulog greetings

The Sinulog is a celebration in honor of the miraculous image of the Señor Sto. Niño.

It is the season when people dance to the beat while holding images of the Child Jesus and shouting “Viva Pit Senyor!” — a phrase Cebuanos utter to give thanks for the blessings they received from the Sto. Niño.

Last Sunday, January 17, we invited people to greet their friends and loved ones LIVE through Sun.Star’s greeting station set up just outside the Sun.Star office at P. del Rosario St., Cebu City. Here’s a replay of what happened.

We are also inviting Filipinos here and abroad to share with us their “Pit Senyor” greetings and thoughts in videos, preferrably within 15 seconds running time.

Post your videos as comments below, or you may send an email to filipinoabroad@sunstar.com.ph.

Viva Pit Senyor!
